    InterXept uses browser local storage rather than traditional cookies. This page explains what we store and why.
  

1. What We Store

InterXept uses browser local storage (not traditional HTTP cookies) to maintain your session and preferences. Local storage data stays on your device and is not transmitted to our servers automatically.

Firebase Auth token	Keeps you logged in between sessions	Managed by Firebase

2. Third-Party Storage

Our third-party services may also store data in your browser:

Google Firebase — authentication tokens to keep you logged in
Netlify — may set cookies for security purposes

3. How to Clear Stored Data

You can clear all stored data at any time:

Chrome: Settings → Privacy → Clear browsing data → Cached images and files + Cookies
Safari (iPhone): Settings → Safari → Clear History and Website Data
Firefox: Settings → Privacy → Clear Data

Clearing this data will log you out of InterXept and reset your preferences.

4. No Advertising or Tracking

InterXept does not use:

Advertising cookies or trackers
Google Analytics or similar tracking services
Social media tracking pixels
Any third-party advertising networks

We only store what is necessary to operate the platform.
